Why buy from a repair shop
We can’t sell you
a problem we’d
have to fix.
A dealer sells the car and moves on. When we sell you a car, we’re also the shop you’ll bring it back to — for its first oil change, its inspection, and anything that goes wrong. That arrangement keeps us honest in a way a sales lot isn’t.
It also means the inspection before a vehicle goes up for sale is done by people who diagnose faults for a living, in the building where the hoists are. Not a walk-around in a parking lot.

If you’re replacing a vehicle, talk to us about the one you’re leaving behind. We’ll look at it and make you an offer — and if it needs work to be worth more than we’d pay, we’ll tell you that instead, because sometimes fixing it and keeping it is the better deal.
Buying privately instead? Bring the vehicle here first for a pre-purchase inspection. An hour on our hoist before you hand over the money is the cheapest part of the whole transaction.

Buying questions
Can I see the vehicle on a hoist before I buy?
Yes — ask, and we’ll put it up. We have the hoists, and a buyer who wants to look underneath is a buyer we’re happy to have. If you’d rather bring your own mechanic to look at it, that’s fine too.
What work has been done to it?
Ask us per vehicle and we’ll tell you what we did, what we found and what we left alone. Where the servicing was done here, there’s a record of it. We’d rather tell you about a vehicle’s quirks up front than have you discover them in month two.
Can I trade in my current vehicle?
Bring it by and we’ll take a look. We’ll be straight about what it’s worth to us, and if you’d get more selling it privately we’ll say so.
Do you take vehicles on consignment or source specific ones?
Give us a call and tell us what you’re after — the make, model, rough year range and budget. If we can help, we will; if we can’t, we’ll say so rather than string you along.
Is the vehicle inspected?
Everything we sell goes through our bays first. We’re also a licensed Alberta inspection facility, so if a vehicle needs an out-of-province or salvage inspection as part of the sale, that happens here rather than somewhere else.
Do you service what you sell?
That’s the whole point. The shop that sold you the car is the shop that maintains it — including the electrical, airbag and A/C work most places send away.
